Seminar at Open Days in Brussels on 9 October 2007
In collaboration with the Baltic Sea Group, BaltMet Inno will arrange the seminar "Boosting Innovation through Metropolitan Partnership".
Boosting Innovation through Metropolitan Partnership
Workshop code: 09D01
The workshop aims to present generic solutions to promoting innovativeness by engaging cities and decision-makers, as well as academic and business partners, into close cooperation. Partners from the Baltic Sea Region will share practical experiences and best practices concerning cooperation between the region’s engines of growth. Ultimately, the workshop should create awareness of the benefits of metropolitan partnership in promoting innovation environments for the success of the whole region and further contributing to the Lisbon goals. The workshop will thus contribute to a shared learning experience among triple-helix partners – metropolises, entrepreneurs, and universities. Particularly, knowledge exchange with other networks of cities and urban areas will be targeted.
